Since the storylines of TTYD and SPM are entirely different, I doubt you'll have any real problems.  However, it'll take a bit more time to get used to the style of how Paper Mario games work, especially if you haven't played PM for the N64 either.

I had already played the N64 one. I just thought that not playing TTYD would make SPM all confusing.

yeah, it was a good game.

Pulling off major air and tree runs = fun

Metoid is a short game.....everything is great except that it is only like 15 hours long....i recommend SPM and wait for the price to drop and at the same time buy/beet the first 2 Metroid primes
