We don't care about thinner product, I want a faster product I DON'T CARE ABOUT THINNER. Oh, and read the source article before posting (if you have no clue what I'm talking about) please.

The size and optional SSD are nice, but no ethernet, a PATA drive, and no optical makes it bullpoop.

I bet it breaks easily.

Also, I just think it's a bad move, unless they make few of them, because I know I would never buy that, the size doesn't matter either, I just wouldn't buy it.

Oh, and does that mean no new iPods this year or I just don't understand Macworld?

There are still a few days, but I wouldn't expect much other than a possible Touch upgrade to 32GB.

All I want is upgrade software for the ipods, bigger space and minor things, but the Touch upgrade sounds the most realistic. The touch does need to be upgraded, though I wonder will they settle it at 32GB or just make it 30GB like the old video, and continue from there. Though I know it's just an estimate, so the actual thing would probably have 28-30GB

Maybe I should save up for it.

It appears someone is new to the world of ultra-portable PCs.

It's....well it's a computer. A mistake in my opinion. They did so good with the MacBook. The Air is going to fail. MISERIBLY.

That's me. :D ^

Pfft, you all have no idea what you are talking about.  As far as ultra-mobile PCs, this thing is going to rule the world.  I would love to have one of those things actually.  I mean holy poop!  2 gig memory,  1.8ghz dual core and a freaking 80 gig hdd in an ultra-mobile is awesome!

This thing is nothing going to replace the Macbook.  Get it right people.  This thing is just a revolution when it comes to ultra-mobiles.  I am a little disappointed by the single USB port though, ultra-mobiles need at least 2 to function properly.

What's the point of the thinness?

It looks like you can snap it in half. :|

Only one USB port, no ethernet ports, and the cheapest available is $1,800 with the most insane processor speed evar of 1.6 GHZ.

I can see it selling loads, unfortunately.

Same actually.  The price is way unreal, however you've got to admit this is a pretty awesome machine none the less.

Because and only because it's less than 1 inch big, right?

No, the specs on it and it's size/weight are what's amazing.

Most UMPC's have ethernet and multiple USB ports. And there's no reason for PATA.
