How do you capture bosses with trophy stands?

I don't know how you get the trophy stands while you're facing them.  Is it a certain difficulty level, or what?

Ive never caught a boss or seen a trophy stand during a boss battle but all you do it chuck it at the boss :P

Trophy Stands appear at random in SSE (But there are certain stickers that increase Trophy Stand Drop rate.), and when they appear, make sure the health of the boss is low. I mean LOW. Then throw it at them. If their health is low enough, they will turn into a trophy and you can grab them. But if they fall off of the edge, then you won't get the boss trophy.

You can also throw Trophy Stands up.

Big Boss:
Size: Large
Attribute: 30 (Remember, the higher the attribute, the better.)

Cornimer:
Size: Medium
Attribute: 21

Nabaaru: (I have this one.)
Size: Medium
Attribute: 22

The President:
Size: Small
Attribute:...7!? That's too low for my liking. If you have it and none of the above stickers, then use this one. When you get the better ones, then switch this out.

Just be cautious. Remember, put it on a character you're best with, who can live long, and can dish out damage.

i hit ridley 3 times with trophy stands, and all 3 times he fell off the stage without me being able to grab the trophy :(

I've been playing for a while, and I got the five "easy" ones.  Petey, raquaza, galleom, duon, and porky.  For ridley, I'm going to wait until he slams into the ground, then use it., or use PK Freeze, but I don't know what I'll do for Meta Ridley and tabuu.

EDIT:  After many broken controllers, I got ridley and tabuu, but meta ridley is still to go.
