because it's always about losing your wife, your job, your pickup truck...etc

I grew up listening to nothing but Garth Brooks, so a small part of me likes country.
Most of it today sucks, but I do like Rascal Flatts and Buddy Jewell (one hit wonder ;-;).

Doodle

Some is ok. But most of it I hate. :P

In most genres there is a common theme.

It bores me. A song has to have a catchy beat or a shredding guitar track to get my attention.

Plenty of country has both of those qualities. Do you just tune it out because it's country or something? You must not pay much attention.

If I did hear a song like that that is country, I would certainly listen to it, but problem is, I haven't.
Original version of The Devil Went Down to Georgia.

Although, its not really Country  :P
Good example. I do really like that song.

I used to kind of like it, but now I'm into harder stuff that makes stuff like country and even 50's rock (which I grew up on, since my dad's a big fan) unbearable.  I need mah hardcorez.

yep.  Along with freeform, to an extend hardstyle, and gabber.

In fact, I'm thinking of importing this gabber album instead of the happy hardcore one I wanted.

ARE YOU STUPID?

Thanks for generalizing, maaaan.

And a part of me will always be countryish. My great grandfather played the fiddle at country dances during the depression to make money. Stories say he was beastly at it. Really makes me wanna learn to play the darned fiddle.

btw, country + rock = <3

That song has always been outrageously fun to sing along with, especially in the car.
Yeah.

It's one of those songs that annoyed me at first, but now I love it.
