I was telling them about Zunes today (more specifically, why they aren't selling so well) and used the PS2-Gamecube situation.

Me: The PS2 came out in 2000, and everyone wanted it, even though the other systems would have better graphics and technology.

Friend #1: What are you talking about?

Me: The Gamecube had better graphics than PS2, it's pretty obvious.

Friend #1: NO IT DIDN'T.

Me: What are you talking about? Of course it did.

Friend #1: Name one game on GCN that had better graphics than PS2.

However, when the PS3 launched, many people had never even heard of Blu-Ray. HD-DVD was still around and the public was confused. Most people don't even own an HDTV, which is kind of odd, considering that they cost like the same as SDTVs.
