The Phantom of Maple Circle [Mystery RP]

Mayor Scotch was just walking out of the building to wait for Mira. He noticed Mira walking toward him and just stood against the wall; waiting.

[Max Headroom]

Mira walked over to the Mayor's location. "Hello thar, Mayor! I need everyone in this city to submit their fingerprints to us."

[THEBIRD]

"Yes, yes I know," the Mayor mumbled, rubbing his red eyes. He took a small gold pin of a finger out of his pocket. "This will give you authority over everyone. Show them this badge, and they will have to submit their fingerprint as evidence."

[Max Headroom]

"Alright, thanks." Mira took the badge. "Can you also supply me with the list of residents of this city?"

[THEBIRD]

"No," Mayor Scotch replied tiredly. "I don't have time. Mary Wright from the Hotel may be able to provide you with the list."

[Max Headroom]

"Alright, I'll go tend to that." Mira said, as he made his way back to the hotel.

"How'd things go?" Mary asked as Mira re-entered.

[Max Headroom]

Now's my chance, but I must ease it into conversation. "I now have the authority to force people to give me their fingerprints, but I need a list of residents of this city. On a side note, some guy claims to know who the Phantom is, but even though I doubt that, I want to try to explore that possibility." Mira said, awaiting Mary's response.

[Dr.Hobo2]

"I don't know," Freddy growled. "Tom and I lost our bond a while back. We just try to stay out of eachother's way."

"ah, I see. Well, I suppose I'll be on my way then." He said as he turned around to leave. Hm...well. He did buy those sleeping pills, he knew who Sage was...probably where she would be too, and he and his brother-who owns the hotel where Sage was killed-werent' the best of friends. He's defenitly a suspect...

The Time is 10 PM. lulz I feel like this is Majora's Mask or something.

"Oh, well I can hook you up with a list of the residents," Mary offered. "And who's the person who knows who the Phantom is?"

"Don't let the door hit yah on the way out," Freddy growled as he began mopping the bloody floor.

"Hm?" Nick turned around and kept walking and walked right into the door. "Ow!..." He shook it off as he embarassedly walked out. Today...hasn't exactly been my best day. He started rubbing his head now with two bruises. One from Xander and the other from the door.

[Max Headroom]

"Please do. And about this guy... Well... I suspect he is a troublemaker, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he's a lier. Whether or not he's telling the truth or not, I cannot tell, but that's what troubling me. Either way, he'll only tell me if you go on a date with this guy."

Mary Wright had just printed out the list and handed it to Mira when he told her about the date. Her eyes widened at the spotlight so much on her, and her cheecks flushed red.

"O-oh," she stuttered. "W-Why? With who?"

"He said he'd only tell me about the Phantom if you go on the date with the troublemaker guy. How many troublemakers live here, anyway?" Mira asked, reading over the list. It's a small city. This should be easy.

"Only one," Mary sighed. "Zachary Smith... And I refuse to go on a date with him."
