"No, I'm Tom's brother," Freddy corrected. "I'm Freddy Mann. Tom Mann runs the Hotel. I don't think the Mayor has any family living around here."

"Ah, that's right." Nick said. Oops... "Did Tom ever have anything going for Sage?"

[Max Headroom]

"I would like to check again for the other part of the bat, but other then that, I'll go get the sponge." Mira did just that.

[THEBIRD]

"I don't know," Freddy growled. "Tom and I lost our bond a while back. We just try to stay out of eachother's way."

"The bat could be anywhere. I guess we'd have to figure out who would have a bat, and perhaps what team the bat is for, to help us figure out who might have owned it," Mary advised.

[Max Headroom]

"Are we sure that it isn't in the room?" Mira asked, referring to the crime scene.

[Triforce_Luigi]

"I never saw it," said Jonathan.

[THEBIRD]

"Well, there's a sports store," Mary speculated. "You could ask the owner if anyone bought a dark blue bat from his store."

[Max Headroom]

"It must have broken off on contact with the victim's head. Oh! I should probably get the victim's fingerprints now." Mira said, taking the ink, sponge, and victim fingerprinting template with him, then taking the victim's fingerprints.

[Triforce_Luigi]

"While you do that, I think I should head to that sports store," said Jonathan.

[THEBIRD]

"Jake owns the sports store. He can have a temper when it comes to things he feels strongly about, but other then that he's a nice guy," Mary tipped off. "Good luck with getting the info."

[Max Headroom]

Mira came back with the first part of the fingerprinting process complete. "Now to compare the fingerprints with the fingerprints from the evidence." Mira said, examining the fingerprints that he had collected.

[THEBIRD]

Sage's fingerprints matched the pill bottle, but nothing else.

[Max Headroom]

"I see....." Mira checked the box aligned with the word 'pill bottle', but crossed every other box. "You could document this and post it on your blog. In the mean time, can we issue a law or something that forces all of the citizens to get their fingerprints taken during this case?"

[Triforce_Luigi]

"And would you happen to know where the sports shop is?" asked Jonathan

[THEBIRD]

"I'll document everything in my blog, and you'd have to talk to the Mayor about the fingerprint law. As for the sports store, it's the small white building a few shops ahead of this one," Mary answered all of their questions.
