Project H.A.M.M.E.R was actually renamed E-09.

And I hope it comes out eventually.

Meh, someone will find the prototype in like 15 years and rip the game onto the Internet, allowing it to run on a Wii with a mod or on a Wii emulator if it doesn't come out.  :P

A Wii emulator would be very interesting.

Imagine playing something like WarioWare XD

Nintendo cancelled HAMMER...which was a bummer.
Sometimes innovation isn't completely necessary. Of course Iwata and the others say they want to "innovate" the industry. We all know they're doing it because they know they can't keep up technically with Sony and Microsoft and the fact that htey don't give a darn about online.

The Japanese don't care if there is online in their games or not. It's a plus if it does, but it's not a deal breaker for them.

Nintendo has always followed a philosophy of "Appreciation of weathered technology", as Gunpei Yokoi put it.

Which means that they would rather use last gen technology and create a new way to play.

Sadly, that includes online. The PS2s online was better, and that system was pretty weak. Wii's online is about on par with Seganet.

Isn't Sonic Unleashed confirmed to be on the Wii too?

I would love a new Star Fox, F-Zero, and I would like to try Kid Icarus and Pikmin.
I don't need a new Zelda just yet.

Also, MySims Kingdom? Wtf?

I thought so too, anyone care to answer?
Yes. And the fact that Sonic Unleashed is a multiplatformer gives me scary thoughts.

I mean, look at every sonic game that's been on more than one system. THEY SUCK.
The video is even scarier. It looks like no skill is invovled. Just riding on rails and holding right and the game plays itself. I was hoping it played like Rush but that doesn't seem to be the case X_X;;

What Video?

Link plz

I know the japanese don't care about online, but throw us a bone and at least try every once in a while will ya?
It's one thing to use old technology in good ways, but using outdated when there is no need to is getting annoying. DS-fine Wii- come on this system is not worth $$250.
THis E3 is a real breaker for me. They said they'd have more "core gamer" games, but if that turns out false (which I seriously think it will), I'll probably move over to PS3 for most of my gaming until next gen...

Triforce, the video is on IGN

It was supposed to come out in Japan on July 3rd, but it was pushed back and the release date has been postponed indefinitely to ?increase the quality of the finished product?.

You really should be asking what happened to Sadness, there hasn't been one piece of info released to the public in over two years, yet its release date is guaranteed to be 2008.

I have a feeling that the new Zelda will take longer than Twilight Princess did.

And thank god a new Star Fox was announced.

I'm pretty happy with this list.  Hopefully most are confirmed.

BTW, what ever happened to Project HAMMER?  I was looking forward to that.  Does anyone know?

Never mind, I just read it a few posts up. -_-

It's actually not canceled. The company that made it confirmed that it still is in development as of around October of 2007.

Ok, good.  That game looks to have a lot of potential.

Hopefully they used all this extra time to make it a lot better.

They said it was just OK at the E3 2006 demo.

But it looked awesome to me.

Sadly, I won't believe the rumoured games, or else, this is going to be like "Guess who's in Brawl" show.
