It was so much fun. It included Pac-Man, Blinky, Ms. Pac-Man, and some Tamagotchi named Mametchi, along with most other Mario Kart characters. It had this cool option where it puts your face in the game, and the items were a lot better than the ones in the console versions. (Making people's wheels square FTW!) The only bad things about the game is that the color commentator is SUPER annoying and you have to put in a quarter for every track on a cup with five races. I hope Nintendo/Sega/Namco make at least one more game for the Triforce arcade board, it really is a great system.

Anyone else ever play any of the Mario Kart Arcade games?  :)

What items did it have?
One that broke the wheel, making driving shakey, one that caused the wheels to rapidly expand and shrink, one that made the wheels square, clouds that slowed you down, and plates instead of shells. There are also others.

Most of those items lock on. And there are no item boxes. There are item hexagons, and a lot more than normal Item Boxes.

Yeah, this game also just came out in American arcades this year.

Java

That's cool.

I played the first one a few years ago in Game Works.
It was a ton of fun.

I wonder if any Game Works/Dave & Busters has one near here.

If it's a Gameworks, it probably does. Dave and Busters probably have it too.

Most big arcades have it.

and plates instead of shells.
I thought they were garbage can lids.
They were some disc-like object, let's agree on that.

Be prepared to spend a lot, you have to scan your card for each race, unlike in F-Zero AX, where you paid $1.50 for one cup and a license that would save your data. Speaking of which, when you unlock something, you have to keep playing, because you don't get a license like with AX.

But it was only like 4.5 points, I think.

Play as Mametchi, he's awesome.  :)
