I wonder what the Male series of a Birdo would look like....  :D

IF ANYTHING this does answer the question of what Birdo's true gender is,
which I don't see a big effin deal anyway...
It's just funny how Nintnedo went out of their way to make Birdo a girl and then they mess teh whole thing up again XD
Nintendo of America still refers to Birdo as a girl.

NCL said that Birdo was a guy who dresses up as a girl and acts like one, but they messed it up by saying it's a girl in this game.

What about Slippy Toad, Nintendo?.... ::)

Well, I kind of agree with them on Mortal Kombat, but not on the grounds that it's too violent (It is violent, but let me explain.)

The United States needed a video game ratings system. But even in 1993/1994, developers were very independent and basically had no rules if they could hide something well enough. By implementing a rating system, they put pressure on the consumer to make their own decisions based on their beliefs and what they want their child to see. The company could not be held responsible.

Didn't really stop the complaining, some people still think EVERY game is made for kids because they still qualify video games as toys.

In reality, they AREN'T toys anymore because not just children play them. Some parents just think that since it's a video game, it's okay for their kid to play. Parents should learn about the ESRB ratings and use them when purchasing a game for their kid.
A rating system was necessary, but in all honesty most of this stems from lazy parenting for the most part. Most people my age aren't as bad/evil as the news/soccermoms make us out to be.
Oh, go watch "Darknessthecurse" on Youtube, he basically yells at Fox news on his fox news rants XD

What? It's completely true.

Jack Thompson thinks the ESRB is full of morons who don't know how to do anything right and are out to get him. I personally think the ESRB works.

I've watched them Nayrman, they are hilarious.

I freaking love that comic. XD

Oh well, I guess Nintendo of America is better off having an asexual recurring character rather than a cross dressing one. In terms of how the public would respond, of course.

Wow, apparently Slippy is a boy, because he got engaged to a female frog and had kids in one of the endings of Starfox Command.  :-\

Yes, but they think that since it's a video game, anyone can play it.

It all comes back to not being informed.

Also, I've seen that part, it is nothing that wouldn't be allowed in a PG-13 movie.

I know, it's the first time a Mario character has been in a T rated game that wasn't Smash Brothers.

Or Halo, which REALLY shouldn't be rated M. There's NO blood, no cursing that isn't acceptable for a T rated game, the only reason it is rated T is because of the people who play online.

All of the Call of Dutys should have been rated M because of the subject matter and blood, the Halos didn't go beyond T.
