has Nothing to do with one another, it's ok to have a lot of threads about said Country.

Nothing in the rules says other wise.

Now if all the threads were talking about.... the election or different aspects of the same/similar subject then all right, it needs to be locked.

*And trust me when I say that I'm probably the Least Corrupt.
