I thought we'd have it here in New York before Iowa legalized it.

Most people when I moved here were X_X;;

It's better now, but mostly because so many people in Atlanta/surrounding suburbs moved here from other places in the 90's.
Trust me when I say once you get into the Mid-level georgia to the plains it's pretty redneck still...

In case you guys haven't heard, Vermont became the first state to legalize gay marriage via the legislature the other day.  So it seems it's not just the activist judges that support gay marriage anymore.
