Because the Finals begin tonight, we may as well discuss.

Detroit vs. Pittsburgh
Game 1 is tonight.
In Detroit.

That simple fact makes me believe Detroit will win Game 1 (and the series, due to last year). They are amazing at home, especially in Playoff Conditions. I'm also rooting for them as the Western Team.

Frankly, I'm surprised the Pens made it again. Really, I am.

Anywho, for those 2 or 3 of you that will watch with me, discuss.

GreatGonzales106

I hate the Penguins, so I'm rooting for the Red Wings. I think Detroit will win, as well.

HTA!

Ew hockey.
I watched a game yesterday and the needless violence turned me away again.
NHL needs to clean that poop up.

Anyway, it was on the same time as the Cavs v Magic (intercourse  you Dwight Howard).

Pittsburgh because its the same city as the Steelers. :)

yea, it's totally too bad the NBA didn't get it's beloved Kobe vs. PRINCE James like they wanted. [/sarcasm]
The better team won and the usually overrated Lebron couldn't win when he was supposed to. Still a LONG way to go before he's the "air apparent" like he was meant to be.

HTA!

Um no.
Lebron is the best player in basketball today.
Were he to have a title, he would be nearing MJ status.

The Cavs lost because they can't guard Dwight Howard and because Mike Brown can't run an offense. Big Z is too slow and Ben Wallace is too old.

Lebron averaged 40 points a game, 8 assists, and 8 rebounds.
What do you want him to do, average a triple double for the whole series?
Cavs swept all other teams all season, they need a big man to stop Dwight Howard is all.

Lakers will win.

you know I'm just a disgruntled Bulls fan right? X_X;;
James can't be considered in MJ status until he wills his team to a series win against a team that can actually beat them (something MJ did very well after the first two years of his NBA career).

I got the Magic winning, for the same reason they beat the Cavs. They have that team's number, and nothing is more impactful on a playoff team that a great big man down low (ask Kobe). Although I would not be surprised if the Lakers won, I'm still picking the Magic.
**lol this turned into an NBA thread*

Cavs lost because they have one good player, while the Magic is good as a team. All the Magic has to do is guard Lebron, and they win.

First of all I do agree its too bad we didn't get to see Kobe vs. Lebron in the finals......that would have been amazing.

And Lebron isn't overrated......you can't expect him to single handily defeat a good team like the Magic. Even MJ had support players like Pipin, while all Lebron has is the mediocre Mo Williams and Delonte West.

Lebron had 35 or more points in every game except game 6.......not much more he could do.

Yesterday, sort of. I was on the verge of crying. Why? I got into an argument with a couple other people from #nsider and it got me really upset. I didn't really cry much though

Hockey is an amazingly clean game when people don't get pissy. I'm not sure what you watched, but any violence is controlled.

Lebron got intercourse ed like the town whore. When the world is watching you like they are, they expect perfection. Unfortunately, they forget to tell you perfection isn't enough.
