To say it will never happen is pretty darn ignorant of you to say.

If Mr. Namco were as popular to be in as Sonic was, I'm pretty sure he could get in.

Too bad I'm the only one to think something like this up with little resources to distribute my idea.
Wrong, there are plenty of non-official characters that are very popular, but will still never make it in.

Well, ok, fair enough. It's not all about popularity though. It's also about business.

If Namco could get a character to be in Brawl, to further advertise their product of a specific game, why not? That's how Snake got in. ( I believe.) Now, instead of just one game being advertised, how about many, at the same time? Wouldn't that be a better idea than just one game being advertised? OF COURSE!

And if Namco were to ask Nintendo to put their character in Brawl REALLY badly, (Also like Snake.) isn't it very possible that Mr. Namco could become a character?

Not even Namco knows about this "Mr. Namco" idea that you have. And even if they did, they most likely don't care. Another thing, if Dig Dug was in with random Namco game attacks, it won't help advertise anything, because to the people who don't even know of those games, they would be like "Wtf?"
One more thing here, your idea is the pixel version of Dig Dug, you also want "Classic Mario" to become playable (Pixel version as well). The thing about those is, when it come to who you control, it's all about the graphics, graphics is part of the reason some people hate Nintendo, because their graphics aren't as good as Microsoft's and Sony's, and since Nintendo is mainly about money, they will probably think they will lose money with it. Now THERE I thought a little too much.

I know Mr. Namco isn't really known by the Namco company yet. If there happens to be another Smash game, I plan to change that. And about them not caring... well that's always a possibility.

About the advertising, people going "WTF?" has always been a good motivator to go look stuff up. ALWAYS. "WTF is NSFCD? OH! IT'S A NINTENDO FORUM! HOW NEAT/STUPID!" At least, it is for me anyway.

And I want a 3-D version of Mr. Namco, just they made Ice Climbers and Pit 3-d. Though, we would look like Olimar too much.

Before it is even confirmed to be released, it would have been worked on already and all the characters would have already been decided. Telling Namco then would be too late (and even if it wasn't, Mr. Namco would still never happen).

Mhm, I think it's pretty obvious to everyone but you that this character never did and never will have a chance in Smash Bros. Go ahead and keep dreaming, just tell me when you wake up :)

Um....off topic?

There's a difference between a dream and a possibility. A dream is something that probably won't happen, (0% to 1%), like this "Mr. Namco" character.

A possibility is when something actually has a chance. (2% to 99%)

So, if you want this Mr. Namco to be in Brawl.

1. Get tons more ideas.

2. Hope that you get hired by Namco.

3. Move up in the ranks of Namco until you become president.

4. Explain your ideas to Namco, and, if they say yes, make a game.

5. If they game kills in ratings, then plan a sequel and tell Nintendo that you want him in Brawl. (Like they did with Travis.)

6. Wait for it. If he gets in? Cool. If not? Try again.

Estimated time? 25-30 years minimum.

Or.....

1. Draw a picture and moveset and send it to Nintendo.

2. Wait for them to send it back with a "Rejected" stamp on it.

Estimated time? 3-5 business days.

The point is, you wouldn't have to deal with just Nintendo. Since Mr. Namco has Namco character moves, then you have to deal with Namco too. FYI.
