Alright, the big American gaming expo is coming soon. Last year was one of the most exciting ones I've seen in a long time, probably because many of the games grabbed my attention, like Nier, The Last Guardian, and Alan Wake. Plus the announcement of Natal and Sony's magic wand were great. At least, I think that was last years. I don't have good memory.

Anyways, what does everyone want to see? Who should pick it up this year?

I'm ready for some big announcements from Nintendo. New Zelda is slated and has been teased. Mario is usually one of their points. And it's about time they start talking about some new series. Even they have to know that Mini-game packages go so far.
Microsoft just better not have 50 percent of its games taken up by FPS' and racing games. But it probably will.
Sony will have Reggie. So it's fine.

I want to see more on Dead Space 2 badly though. I want to know if it is just becoming another game in the millions, and not the special game the first one was.

Oh Vesperia, never change... never change

Nintendo:
Zelda reveal for realz. Promise to be end of year early next year. Two months later it'll be Holiday 2011, and we'll go from there.
Nintendo 3DS. They'll hype it up as the next "true" evolution of the DS, but like the DS itself, it'll take a year before anyone has any idea what to do with the thing, but it'll be a good handheld like Nintendo always makes.
Hint at some other franchises, but nothing substantial outside of hopefully more Golden Sun DS footage.
Wii Vitality and other useless crap no one asked for

Microsoft:
More online functionality, further cementing the fact that no one can beat them in the online arena
Project Natal will be heavily featured, but critically panned due to no force feedback from having "no controller".
Halo and more FPS's galore.
Claiming they're more original than the Wii and PS3, but not really doing so by showing so many of the same type of games.
**Note: Unless they have some super-hidden unexpected show stopper, I think Microsoft will have the worst showing

Sony:
Sony Move will be heavily shown, and the initial problems will be somewhat resolved after some time looking at how normal people played it at the GDC.
More games with Move in mind will be shown, expect some big announcement by SCEA regarding a game for Move (God of War? Or maybe something like it)
Last Guardian is the game of the show to them
LittleBig Planet 2 will be shown, among sequels to other popular Sony franchises.

I want to see Pikmin 3, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Zelda Wii, and 3DS. Darkstalkers and more CoD:BO would be cool too.

MoS

I'm really only excited for project natal. I would be excited for the new Zelda but unless they lower the Wii's price I won't be buying one.

I think they did a few months ago if that helps, it's only $200 or so.

True fact.

Maybe I'll go see the E3 this time.

MoS

Yeah, I am aware they are $200, but that is still too expensive.

Triforceman22

wait, when is E3?

i'm hoping to see Zelda Wii, more Halo Reach and Call of duty: Black Ops.

Should be around the middle of June if I'm not mistaken.

Too bad. You'll have to get one for that cheaper price.

Or...I just won't get one. A Wii costs just as much as a basic Xbox 360, and you get a lot less horsepower, and very limited online functionality. If it weren't for Mario and Zelda I really don't see a logical reason why you would buy one, unless of course you are 10 years old.

Somewhere, Steve Balmer & Bill Gates are toasting each other. "To success" they say, followed by a four course meal. Then come rounds of MW2 & Halo: Reach....... ah, the fruits of a successful business plan and marketing scheme.  8)

How about a console Mega Man game? WE HAVEN'T HAD ONE IN 5 YEARS.

God its not like X8 sold badly either. Capcom just has no faith in the franchise anymore.

Didn't we have Mega Man 10?
