Uh... no, I don't think he should be playable. If he was, he would either be a Sonic clone or have a moveset based off of the game Shadow the Hedgehog. If anyone else from SEGA, I want Tails ::)

Like Daisy in Melee, I think that one of Sonic's different colors would end up looking like Shadow.

What about small differences other than color? Shadow's spikes are more jagged looking, he has hover shoes, and I think he has a different bracelet...

Well, with Shadow's hover shoes, you would need a different animation for walking than Sonic. From previous games, it's easy to assume that different colors/suits can not change any animation sequences for the character.
