There is a fundamental issue here if you think Area 6 is the concern. Let me highlight a few things here...all the discussion on Area 6 could be had here. All the users on Area 6, could be here. Through aggressive marketing, design, planning, and the like, TK and I have designed a forum that is functioning extremely well. Obviously, there are ideas in place at A6 that could be applied to NSFCD...but these are different models. Look at WHO is posting on A6. Users from here make a section. Dare I ask why they can suddenly generate 200 posts each in a period of a week at A6 yet they can't on NSFCD in a month? The issue here goes well beyond Area 6, I assure you of that. Now, part of the activity issue is because TK, Silver, and myself have all been doing other things this week (and we are, arguably, three of the most active users). Take out our posts, and you take out potential replies. But the question is...why hasn't NSFCD proven it can evolve into something more. Keep in mind A6 is the sixth intercourse ing incarnation of this forum. NSFCD is a great place, and it is, in fact, my home. It always will be. But the apathy of the users is killing it. It's viral. Look no further than the combined post totals of Rob, Magnum, and SkyMyl to see the change. Then, factor in all the rest of NSFCD. This has proven to me that the new and exciting forum is enough to incite posting...then again, so was March. NSFCD continues to amaze me at the levels its users will go to bawwww and claim they are lurkers...then blatantly disregard the statements. Trust me - I'm thrilled about the success TK and I are having. But when opening A6, beyond re-uniting lost friends, we set out a plan to help forums that matter to us: Ichimonai, Hadaway, and NSFCD. That commitment still stands. I stand before you now, with this big ass block of a paragraph that I may format after, and ask you try to show a little more care to the forum that has been your home all this time. Give NSFCD even a fraction of what you just provided A6, and it will live on for many years to come.

Not trying to be a prick here or anything considering you guys are even hosting us but I saw Mack's post and I have a feeling the entire thing will be ignored and nothing will get done as usual.

Thus I feel it's time to bring a post about.

There's so much I could argue with that. Before just saying "Area 6" Be noted that we had Fizzland which had no focus and those likes, and while it got it's 15 minutes of fame, both had a much different turnout when it comes to it's relations to NSFCD

Things started long before this. If you really want to fix this place look no further than the thread in my member title which I've had linked for almost a month. That thread sums up everything with this. I'll just bring out a few quotes being the ones I used in that thread like, you know, here

1) Focus.

Area 6 has one. It has it's focus of developing into a general online gaming board mostly used for say, Brawl, TF2, Starcraft, Pokemon, and those likes.
On the other hand, as with now, NSFCD has no branding to attract. It's blindfolded right now. It doesn't know what the hell it wants to be in particular.

2) A more...motivated staff and memberbase.

Area 6 - Staff/Memberbase is motivated for sure. Hell, a good chunk of em (Both NSFer's and others) asked me for an encore tonight with Game Night. I approved.
NSFCD - I really can't say anything about staff right now as I have hardly a clue, but memberbase? Motivated? Three words: My. Member. Title. If we were motivated something would've happened in that thread. I had a ridiculous amount of people backing me up on that, and yet, nothing.

3) A unified community.

Uh do I need to go on?

A6 - Back to as I said earlier the Memberbase is in unity. Sure, not everyone posts in the gaming boards from the old crew but nobody is complaining about the direction because they see how it develops the actual site.

Finally, no, you're not all that different as you think you are with intercourse -ups. While your forum problems are unique there is no way they're 100% unique. How so?

There was a point where a lot of users argued. There was a point when half of us left the site. We've had our version of Snorkel (In a much different way mind you). We (OLF) almost became part of you guys via merging way back in 08.

... I'm still doing stuff on here (though it may not seem so), so while I didn't post as much this week, I still do want to do the best for this forum. I had 2 place I went to before here. Dothackers, and IGN (lolisuck). Neither grabbed my interest. I was done with forums until Allegretto led me here. And sure, the first year I nearly had no friends. But no one here was a huge vagina cleaning device bag. Everyone has always been kind here, with a few exceptions and bumps. That makes me feel like this place is my home, and I've gained friends over just these past few weeks, for gods sake. Night, TK, Rob, Matt, MYL, hell I even feel closer to Mace (not sure he returns it, but hey...). I want to fight to protect the place that led me to meet these people, and I want a place we can always come back to. Even if it's memories when we get older.

I don't want NSFCD to die. And even if you still see me as that member that sits on the side and really has no part in this place, I feel like I do. And I will do everything in my power to prove it if I must.
For a focus on this site, I'm not sure yet. We have been a Nintendo forum for so long, but at this point, Area 6 is covering gaming very well. This doesn't mean that we can't stick with our Nintendo focus, but we have to start from scratch. Go from the ground up and make this place, not just a forum, but a community that everyone can enjoy, that anyone can come into and feel at home, one that attracts the interest of everyone.

And as TK said, we can't just have Silver, Mace, TK, and myself in on this. We need everyone. From Jr. Dude to Totla. From the Chris' to Nayrman. From TerribleFrog to Kiango. A unified community that would spend just a little bit of time to create a joyful place they can waste their time in. We're losing people everyday that everyone seems to look over. They would not spend the time to help their home. Everyone that is still here, I can easily consider you all my friends. Now, as friends, don't overlook this anymore. The issue is here, and it is now. We need you. NSFCD needs you. Your family needs you.
