I'm not disappointed. I knew it was a waste of time as I was posting, yet I still did.

I felt really bad when the RP board was locked. I had so many memories I took for granted in there. It wasn't just the posts, but what the posts mean. Behind those words was an entire life, now locked away to a place I couldn't get to. I would often go back and re-read everything I've done. I always remembered my time as an Elite, and I regretted a lot of it. But at the same time, I had a family. They were brothers to me. Now it was all gone.

I moved on with life. These lines I wrote may sum it up:

"I try to move before me
But I can't ignore this door behind me,
Knowing that I won't die by my sword
I left this old lord to die by his own fame
My past brought me back to my old days..."

That lord was me. As famous and important as I was, I still missed what was important to me. Now Nsider is dead for good, and I can see this happening to a lot of other people.

Listen to me. Always remember your past, and learn from it. Treasure it, for the good and the bad. Some of you were more attached than others. I? I lost a family. But I am forging new relationships from the ashes of old.

For those of you who care, Nsider will always be with you. It was a second life for many of us, if we thought of it like that or not. Just remember that there is a door before you as well.

Yup, it sucks but by now all you can do is deal with it. =/

I don't feel it all a waste of time. I learned a LOT from NSider including:

-How to touch type, and through that my WPM improved.
-How to create computer graphics using Gimp.
-How to expand my natural organized self to create EPIC threads (Like the Gimp FAQ, SSBM Scoreboard, etc.).
-Generally my writing has improved.
-It was a place that I could tell people what I felt, when normally I wouldn't get that option (being very shy).
-Just the fact that I was saged was a huge deal to me because I was suddenly recognized by a huge community as a great user. I don't get a lot of that in reality.

There is a word filter. It's on by default, so I guess you turned it off.
