Dead Bird

My neighbor's kids came over o show me something.

I was expecting them to show me their Pokemon cards or games, but instead they came to show me that they had caught a little baby bird. 

I didn't really say anything besides "Oh cool!" then sent them off their way, but I give the bird... 2 weeks to live. 

What do you guys think?  1 week?  'Cause there is no way in hell that the momma bird is going to take it back, and I really don't think those kids are even going to feed the bird, let alone their parents.
