If you could run water through turbines in the car cool and circulate back then we could have endless fuel.
What would power the water through the turbines?

I wonder if you could condense exhaust back into fuel...

Why not have electric cars that recharge themselvesas they drive?

Basicailly, have a battery to get the car going, and have some sort of generator on each of the the 4 wheels that charges the battery and keeps the car going.

Does that qualify as perpetual motion? Where does the car get its initial charge?

Yep. Many people are starting to live in their small cars because they have no more money to pay for their house, and small cars use less gas.

Why can't we use Alaska again?

Jono2

i drive a Versa (smallest Nissan car there is) with a CVT (the least gas consumption), and it's still ridiculous.

Yeah, i only have to fill my tank every few weeks, but lately it's hit a major spike.  back in January, I could pay $40 to fill my tank.  now to fill it not even 2/3rds of the way costs about 50 bucks.

It's America's last frontier, the oil that is there isn't worth sacrificing the beauty of the land.

You still have to build oil wells.

they'll go down, or at least stay steady for a while once the Grand Banks pipelines are up.

Liberals. Who are backed by environmentalists, who wouldn't let us drill if the fate of humanity was at stake.
