Also known as the Water Temple and Shadow Temple XD

Shadow temple is easy as intercourse .
It's very straight-forward.

Unlike the ninny that is the water temple.
Screw up once, and you have to go lower the water level, and then raise it again.
son of a ninny.

Oh yeah, if you do play OoT and don't use a guide, make sure to look at a guide if you want a specific upgrade before you become an adult, I read there's a glitch that once you become an adult, you can't get that upgrade anymore. But it's just Deku Nuts/Sticks (I forgot), so it wouldn't be a big problem if you didn't get it, just saying if you want to get all of the upgrades.

Listen, just spend the $20 and get WW.
Surpasses OoT and MM in my opinion.

lol twenty minutes of pointless sailing to get to each island and annoying fetch quests that serve no purpose other than to lengthen the game

Pointless sidequests = fun.

mandatory sidequests involving pointless and arbitrary fetching that requires you to interact with the most annoying character in Zelda history = fail

The sailing is easily avoided via warping, besides, sailing was fun.
Side quests lengthen the game, which I thought was a good thing?
Dungeons are creative, boos fights are phenomenal, and the game looks terrific.

Why does everyone focus on the triforce quest and sailing when the positives far outweigh the negatives?

WW is more modern and overall more fun for someone just getting into the series.

Besides, it has humor. *Remembers Toon Link in barrel*

You only get warping halfway through the game.
And seriously, the triforce fetchquest where you're FORCED to interact with Tingle alone drops it a rung in terms of likability. It's the only part of the game I used a guide because I did NOT want to spend hours trying to find the darn pieces in the blatantly stupid game lengthener..
Sailing was boring as crap. Sure, so is horesback riding, but at least in OoT/TP the field is usually small enough depending on where you're trying to go.

From what I've been told/read (I've never played Ver1.0 myself, I believe only 800,000 copies were sold in the U.S.), the Water Temple has one fewer small key than the other versions. Meaning you can intercourse  up and use all the small keys and not go to where Dark Link is. Thus forcing you to permanently lose the game and having to restart from the beginning.
But that's just what I've been told and read in various places. I've never played it to confirm it myself.

OH GOD THAT FUCKING EXPLAINS IT
I HAD TO RESTART MY FILE TWICE AS A KID
BECAUSE I ALWAYS RAN OUT OF KEYS

Doesn't the original version also have Ganondorf cough up blood and not green goop in the end?

I dunno, I just heard that the first copies made had Ganondorf cough up red blood instead of green goop.
