I don't really care. More time to make it better, IMO, and it's closer to Spring Break anyway. I can't shake this sinking feeling that Sakurai is waiting for Nintendo for something, and maybe a new character has made an arrival. *hint-hint* ::)
Seriously, unless the game is delayed a whole year like Twilight Princess, then it doesn't matter. I kind of feel that Sakurai should stop giving us updates and just let us discover these for ourselves. I like the updates, but I think that the point has been reached where there really is no need for them.

To make matters worse, it doesn't seem like we'll be getting any characters until release. I think if you subtract Sonic and Snake, then you have the starting roster. Normally, I refrain from complaining about updates, but we might be headed for a flood of game modes. The only good updates I see in the future will be uncomfirmed Final Smashes, and, if Sakurai is willing, Special Moves. And I'm not sure we have any uncomfirmned Final Smashes, since Zelda's was shone to be Light Arrows and ZSS's was at E For All, and apparently called Crystal Flash...

1. The game is not as perfect as you make it sound. Sure the game have Sonic and all but don't ya think that Sonic could be a little bit better?

Yeah it makes no sense. There's no reason for a delay in the states. If they would of delayed it in Japan and kept the release date for NA it would of worked out fine.

It's a supply and demand issue.
a lot of people in North America wants SSBB (SSBB is North Americas most wanted Nintendo game).
Once NOA saw how many people wanted SSBB (by reserves/pre orders) they realized that they did not have enough
copies to give everybody there game, so thats why they delayed North Americas date back by a month...

These are my demands for SSBB since it got delayed not only once, but TWICE:
- at LEAST 45 chracters, and I mean AT LEAST
- at LEAST 1.5 times as many stages from Melee
- Full online in SSE and every mode previously stated with GOOD connection (not a ten minute waiting period like Mario Kart or Metroid Prime)
- At least some future hope of Voice Chat compaitibility....even if one isn't out time of release, WHEN (we all know it's WHEN) Nintendo makes one, have it compatible
- Near endless replayability: If Bunjie can make Halo series almost endlessly playable in the same time frame, sure one of Nintendo's geniuses can do the same
there is a SMALL chance that i can see of the USA version getting exclusive content, but its just false hope to keep me from selling my wii and buying a 360. i do agree with speed demon though, even if it wasnt delayed, i would want everything he said in the game. basically, even if the game is done and they're delaying for no reason, i want SSBB to be better than MP3,SMG,TP, and GHIII combined, because thats what NOA has hyped this up to be. oh, and to everyone who says they'll roast sakurai's head, dont do that, do it to NOA Andy and Regi, because i bet it's their fault :robotveryhappy:

Then again, Nintendo just seems like the kind of company that holds back products when they are 100% finished to give to the Japanese first to build up hype.

ok...nintendo power is future us now right? and playstation magizine xbox ect all by future...they gave demos for those magizines...however when np made the switch...i emailed them about demos and said they dident have plans to release demos with np...BUT this may be an excption...everyone here and i mean EVERYONE email future us about this...and maybe we can "pursuade" them to give us a brawl demo ;) hmmmm....lol

I'm mad at the fact that it's getting delayed again!!!!! But, I had a feeling that it would happen again and it did. Maybe they got to make more adjustments to it. For getting this much time, the game might be better than we would expect. After all, they delayed it about two times.

Maybe the reason why brawl was delayed is that this could actually be the last smash game directed by Sakurai and Sakurai want this smash game one to enjoy
Nate is one of the head translators at Nintendo. I think he headed the translation of Melee, and I know he is the one that translates the updates.

Especially since I can only think of one instance where Nintendo of America added on to a game that started out in Japan rather than just translating it.

Actually, it takes a week tops, and that's from making the graphics. But, yeah I think he's done with new content for now.

Seriously, unless the game is delayed a whole year like Twilight Princess, then it doesn't matter. I kind of feel that Sakurai should stop giving us updates and just let us discover these for ourselves. I like the updates, but I think that the point has been reached where there really is no need for them.

It's impossible for them to be adding another character. Japan only has a six day delay. What can they possibly do to the game in that time. They development has been finished two months ago. To be realistic I'd say it has to do with translating issues or there is something wrong with English versions that has to be fixed. That could explain why we have to wait another month.

NOA took a two week end of year vacation. They are lazy.
I wish I could remove my vote and turn it up a notch *bam*, because I rememberred that I was going to use the winter recess the week after Brawl was SUPPOSED to come out to play it. Now, I have nothing to do, since I'll beat SMG by then. Maybe I won't beat SSBM by the time vacation comes and I can beat that...
