"I guess so..." Akutai said. He thought a moment as he saw that the markers had now completely stopped. The trees began to thin out, and now there was a clearing. Nothing spectacular, just a dirt clearing. The small orb of light stopped, and it began to spin around in circles, growing faster with each loop. "Now what's it doing?"

Ryuki's staff started to glow.

"I think there's more here than meets the eye...." he muttered. He looked around and saw nothing of particular interest other than the circle of dirt in the ground.

"Don't know," Jas looks back. "But I'm sure we were followed here," she keeps her gaze in Solon's direction.

"Wait..." Akutai said. The orb was now traveling so fast, it began to kick up the dirt. As it cleared the dirt, a large metal plate appeared. "What is that?"

"I've never seen or read of anything that looks like this before...." Ryuki replied, looking at the strange plate.

Jas can't shake the feeling that something's stalking them, but she looks at the plate that appeared anyways.

The orb suddenly stopped. For a small moment, Akutai felt something, but it didn't last very long. Suddenly, the orb flew straight into the center of the metal plate, and designs of straight, jagged lines lit up on it. Another small orb began to appear from sparks coming from the center of the plate, and it began to grow larger.

Solon stared at it with wide eyes, subconciously rubbing his shoulder. That looks like... he thought. His gaze skimmed over to the girl who knew he was watching them. He decided she'd be the threat, and she must have been the person from Atsushi, too.

Ryuki leaned down and touched the glowing plate. For some reason, he felt like this was something that he should do.

"It's odd.... But I feel like I've felt this energy before.... Where, I'm not sure....." he stated, as he placed his palm on the metal plate.

'Maybe I should've tried to learn how control this before runing off...' Jas stands there, trying to look up what the object could be using the cyber brain implanted in her head, but doesn't come up with anything. 'Even if I did find something...'

Akutai looked at what Ryuki was doing, wondering what might have come into his head. He then realized something. He had seen this scene in a dream the night before the meteor shower. Then Akutai saw a small slot in an area in front of where the sparks were coming out of the plate.

"Wait... maybe...?" He began to think. He drew out his sword, and suddenly realized it was somewhat glowing.

Solon had a sudden feeling he didn't want Akutai to do whatever he was about to do. With a yell he lurched himself out and catapaulted into Akutai.

Jas looks from the sword to the plate, and continues watching... until Solon shows up. "What the f-" She quickly draws her Duel Vipers.

The sword flew up in the air as Akutai fell to the ground. Flipping around a few times, the sword landed directly into the slot, and a giant flash of light enveloped the group. The light cleared, and they were gone, along with the sword.

"... Wha...?" Akutai mumbled as he sat up. He looked around a bit, and suddenly saw a large temple right in front of the group. "Wh... What the??"
